The City’s budget is our financial plan for the year, showing how we will collect and spend money to provide services, maintain infrastructure, and invest in our community. It covers all parts of City operations, from police and emergency services to street repairs, parks, utilities, and community programs. The budget also includes funding for major projects, paying down debt, and keeping reserves for emergencies. This plan ensures that every dollar is used wisely, in line with state law and our community’s priorities, to keep our small city safe, welcoming, and well-maintained.
