The Orting City Council sets the budget, legislates, and determines city policy. 

City Council meetings are held on the following days and times:

2nd Wednesday of the month 

• 5:00pm - Study Session
• 6:00pm - Regular Business Meeting

3rd Wednesday of the month

• 2:00pm - Committee of Whole Meeting

Last Wednesday of the Month 

• 5:00pm - Study Session
• 6:00pm - Regular Business Meeting

Council  meetings observe the Council Rules of Procedure Final 5.29.2024 and are held at Orting City Hall and are open to the general public.
