Tod Gunther is a native of Washington, and in addition to his proud service in the Navy, has worked regionally in the high tech industry as a software developer for 30 years. Personally, he enjoys extreme sports such as underwater caving, shipwrecks, and the occasional shark. He also has two vintage motorcycles.

He is the Vice Chair of the Public Works Committee. He is a member of “Bridge for Kids,” working to provide an over-land evacuation system for our City’s adults and children.

Councilmember Gunther’s priorities include ensuring that all economic classes are treated with dignity; increasing support of local businesses as the veins of the city; expanding the recreational aspects in the City (in big ways); strengthening core social services; and adding more AWESOMENESS to the city! He is also the founder of the Orting LocalWiki.
