Foothills Trail Realignment and Safety Enhancements RFQ 2025

The City of Orting is accepting statement of qualifications from consulting firms with expertise in design and construction of recreation trail projects. This request is for landscape architecture and
engineering services for the design to relocate a portion of the Foothills Trail located in the Main Park in the City of Orting, Washington.

The work will conform to the applicable sections of Chapter 47.30 Washington Administrative Code (WAC) for Trails and Paths. The project is funded by the Federal Highway Administration through the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC). All applicable federal regulations will apply.

The project site is accessible to the public to view at their convenience. A pre-submittal meeting and tour of the portion of the Foothills Trail included in the project may be scheduled upon request. Procurement Notification

• This project is a formal competitive procurement and will be advertised in the Tacoma News Tribune and is open to all qualified consultants. All solicitation documents, including addenda, are published on the city
  website at https://www.cityoforting.org/government/public-notices. The deadline for submission of proposals is April 16, 2025, by 3:00 P.M. PST.

• Last Day for City-Issued Addendums: April 4, 2025.
• RFP Submittal Deadline: April 16, 2025, by 3:00 PM
