Please be advised that pedestrians crossing HWY-162 from Carbon River Landing will begin using the new crosswalk at Lane Blvd starting tomorrow, Wednesday the 22nd. The crosswalk near Rocky Road will be closed to the public so all pedestrians will use the crosswalk at Lane Blvd until completion of the pedestrian bridge.
Drivers, please watch for the crossing guards at the intersection who are helping students get across the road safely from 7:00am to 9:00am and again from 2:00pm to 3:30pm. Please share this with other drivers in your home so people are aware of the change to traffic.
The Foothills Trail will be closed from Lane Blvd to Old Pioneer Way tomorrow too for the duration of the project. Pedestrians will have a path on Old Pioneer Way for a temporary detour.
