CITY OF ORTING REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)

ISSUED: January 21, 2025

PROJECT: Orting Telemetry Master Plan & Design Project No.: PW2025-01 Budget Items: 401-594-34-63-062, 408-594-35-64-054, 410-594-31-63-049

The City of Orting is seeking proposals from qualified Consultants to develop a comprehensive Telemetry Master Plan and Design. This initiative aims to modernize and enhance the city's telemetry systems, including SCADA integration for water, wastewater, and stormwater utilities. The project will address aging infrastructure, communication issues, and operational challenges to ensure reliable and efficient system monitoring and control.

PROJECT OVERVIEW: The Telemetry Master Plan and Design will involve:

  • Assessing current system deficiencies
  • Evaluating alternative solutions
  • Designing a fully integrated, modern telemetry system
  • Enhancing system reliability, data transfer, and control capabilities
  • Developing implementation plans and City standards for future utility infrastructure projects

  • RFP Submittal Deadline: February 14, 2025, by 10:00 AM
