NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING and notice of SEPA Determination
Notice is hereby given that the Orting Planning Commission will be holding a Public Hearing during their regular meeting at City Hall, 104 Bridge St. S. in Orting, WA on September 5th, 2024 at 7:00pm, or as soon thereafter as possible to receive public testimony and forward a recommendation to City Council regarding proposed amendments to several code sections regulating temporary occupation and storage of recreational vehicles (RVs).
All members of the public may provide testimony during the public hearing in person, via the platform Zoom, or they may submit written comments to planner@cityoforting.org prior to the public hearing. To join the meeting via Zoom:

Notice is further given that the proposal is subject to environmental review. The City of Orting is the lead agency for this proposal under the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) and has reviewed the proposed non-project action for probable adverse environmental impacts and issued a determination of non-significance (DNS) for this proposal on August 21, 2024. The information is available to the public on request. Comments may be provided to the SEPA Responsible Official by 5:00 pm on September 4, 2024, to the email address listed below.
