Notice is hereby given that Brad Grasley, on behalf of Abundant Life Church has applied to develop the site for use as a 28,772 square-foot church, constructed in two phases at 1005 Orting Kapowsin Hwy E - Parcels No. 0519314027 & 0519314030.

The proposal is for a variance from critical areas protection criteria (OMC 11-1-8) to allow an encroachment into the standard City of Orting 2016 buffers associated with Wetland A, the potential offsite wetlands, and the Puyallup River. The proposal is related to a previous application to redevelop the site for use as a church, constructed in two phases.

All application materials are public record and included below.  Any member of the public may request an appointment to view materials in person.

The public comment period ends September 22, 2023, at 5:00pm. Any person may comment on the application, receive notice of and participate in any hearings, and request a copy of the decision once made. A public hearing will occur before the Hearing Examiner and is not yet scheduled.
