PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hearing Examiner for the City of Orting will be holding a Public Hearing. The purpose of this hearing is to receive public testimony regarding a conditional use permit application to allow Children’s Discovery Academy to run preschool services for 20 children at a time out of the dwelling located at 221 Eldredge Ave SW. Drop-off and pick-up times would be staggered with two groups. The public is invited to comment.

The hearing will be held in front of the hearing examiner on August 30th at 2:00pm, and will occur at Orting City Hall, located at 104 Bridge Street South.

If you are unable to join the hearing written comments may be submitted to City Planner Emily Adams electronically, no later than 9:00am on August 30, 2021 at EAdams@cityoforting.org.  Written comments will be sent to the Hearing Examiner prior to the hearing and will become part of the public record.  Further information may be obtained by emailing Emily Adams.
