Residents may notice overnight activity near 102 Bridge St. SE across from City Hall on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, as Puget Sound Energy (PSE) replaces a power pole in the area.

Work Hours: 8:00 p.m. – 5:00 a.m.

 

This work is being performed during overnight hours to minimize impacts to traffic, businesses, and the community during the day. Nearby residents and businesses may experience temporary construction noise, equipment activity, and work lights while crews complete the replacement safely and efficiently.

 

Pursuant to Chapter 5-8 (Noise Control) of the Orting Municipal Code, certain public works and utility activities may be conducted outside normal hours when necessary to protect the public health, safety, welfare, or to complete essential utility improvements.
