Public Notice: Planned Overnight Power Outage – July 9–10

The City of Orting would like to notify residents of a planned overnight power outage scheduled for Thursday, July 9, through Friday, July 10, from approximately 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

The temporary outage is necessary to allow contractors to safely complete work associated with the Kansas Street Improvement Project during overnight construction hours.

The outage area is expected to include locations generally bounded by:

• South: Calistoga Street W & Kansas Street SW and Harman Way S & Kansas Street SW
• North: The McMillin bridge near Washington Avenue N / SR-162 & 140th St E (the McMillin Trailhead)

Puget Sound Energy (PSE) will directly notify customers whose service will be affected by the planned outage.
