The City of Orting has several vacancies on commissions that need to be filled.

Civil Service Commission – this commission oversees the hiring process for the Orting Police Department. They meet on the 4th Monday of the month at 6:30pm and they are in need of two new commission members.

Planning Commission – this commission makes recommendations regarding land use and determinations on the Architectural Design Review. They meet on the first Monday of the month at 7:00pm and they are in need of one new commission member.
