Officer Drasher was hired in November of 2004. After completing the Washington State Criminal Justice Academy in June of 2005, he started his field training under the supervision of Sergeant Dowd, Sergeant Gard and Detective Cassatt. Since completing field training he has received training in identifying and processing methamphetamine labs. After his training he joined the Pierce County Clandestine Lab Team. Although his appointment was short lived, the training and knowledge he received has greatly raised his awareness about the effects methamphetamine has on a community like the City of Orting.
Currently Officer Drasher is a Field Training Officer for the department and has recently been appointed to Reserve Officer Coordinator.
